You could always reach out to your Teaching Assistants as well if you have questions outside of class.

      Are there any hidden costs?

      No, all required tools and AI course resources are free-of-charge.

      Will the Generative AI course cover AI ethics, security and bias?

      Yes, we integrate best practices for responsible AI use in our Generative AI course. This includes bias mitigation, data privacy and adversarial risks.

      Is there any form of certification upon completing the Generative AI course?

      Yes, digital certs are provided upon completion of the Generative AI course! All Heicoders students will receive a digital certification (accessible via website, PDF downloadable), which can also be uploaded onto LinkedIn. Here’s an example below (link here), and instructions on how to do so will be provided at the end of the course.

      For payment, could I make a deposit first, and complete the payment closer to the course’s commencement date?

      Unfortunately, you must make the payment in full to begin the Generative AI course. Due to the limited availability of course slots, we are unable to guarantee you a seat in the upcoming cohort until the full payment is received.

      We usually encourage students to make payment in one go to facilitate the issuance of receipts, especially if students need them for reimbursement by their companies or subsidy programmes like NTUC UTAP.

      I am keen on your Generative AI course but can’t make it for one session. Is there a makeup class?

      Yes, a makeup class for our Generative AI course is possible on a case-by-case basis. We strongly advocate for full attendance among students, but we recognise that severe unforeseen events may occur. For such instances, we will grant such students a one-time accommodation to attend a makeup session or a live stream of the recorded class.

      If you are planning on using any subsidies (e.g. UTAP, IBF, SkillsFuture Credits), do note that these subsidies will require you to have at least 75% class attendance before you are eligible for subsidies.

      I just registered for the Generative AI course and am a NTUC Union member. How do I apply for the UTAP subsidy?

      The UTAP subsidy is disbursed by NTUC to eligible students on a reimbursement basis. After completing the Generative AI course, Heicoders students can apply on the NTUC website for reimbursement, and once approved, will receive a direct deposit from NTUC to their bank accounts within two to three weeks.
