The Challenge
Samsung SDS, the IT services arm of the Samsung Group, recognised that the Generative AI (GenAI) landscape was evolving faster than most organisations could keep pace with. Across their technical and support teams, there was a real need to build a shared baseline: what is GenAI actually capable of today, and how do AI agents fit into the picture for enterprise contexts?
The challenge was not a lack of interest. It was scale and relevance. With over 100 staff to reach in a single session, Samsung SDS needed a training partner who could cut through the noise, make complex concepts genuinely accessible, and deliver a session that would leave a large, diverse room both informed and energised.

After several rounds of engagement and discovery conversations, Samsung SDS chose Heicoders Academy to design and facilitate the workshop. Our instructors are active practitioners in the AI industry, not just educators, which means we bring real-world context into every session. The ability to customise the programme around Samsung SDS's specific team context and use cases was another key factor. Rather than delivering an off-the-shelf overview, we worked closely with their team to shape a curriculum that would resonate with participants from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
The Solution
Heicoders Academy designed and delivered a customised Agentic AI workshop for Samsung SDS's technical and support teams, with more than 100 participants attending in person. The session was built to be introductory in entry point but substantive in depth, running participants through the most important developments in the GenAI landscape and grounding it all in live demonstrations and practical frameworks.

- Prompt Engineering Framework: A practical framework that participants could take back to their desks immediately, with hands-on exercises to make it stick.
- Live Demo in an IT Environment: A real-time demonstration of AI agents in action, tailored to scenarios relevant to Samsung SDS's context, showing exactly what automation looks like in practice.
- Responsible AI in the Enterprise: An honest conversation about how organisations can begin exploring internal AI agent use cases securely and sensibly, without taking on unnecessary risk.
Results
The energy in the room said everything. Over 100 participants, most of them attending in person, stayed thoroughly engaged from start to finish. The session was filled with moments of genuine excitement, particularly during the live agent demonstrations, where participants saw for the first time the kinds of automations that are now within reach for enterprise teams. Even with a class size that could easily become passive, the room remained sharp, curious, and interactive throughout.
The conversation went far deeper than a typical introductory session. Participants asked probing questions about secure deployment, internal use cases, and how to bring these capabilities into their own workflows. That level of engagement was the clearest signal that the workshop landed not just as an awareness exercise but as a genuine catalyst for action.
What's Next
The inaugural workshop marked the beginning of an ongoing partnership. Samsung SDS has committed to subsequent training runs with Heicoders Academy, a clear sign that the session delivered real value and that their teams are ready to go deeper.
