I have no IT or technical background. Can I still take CS100?

Yes! CS100 is designed for absolute beginners. We start from the very beginning and build up progressively. No prior cybersecurity or technical experience is required.

What's the difference between CS100 and the CS Nanodegree?

CS100 is a beginner-level essentials course that covers cybersecurity fundamentals in 7 lessons. The CS Nanodegree is a comprehensive programme that includes CS100 plus advanced courses, hands-on projects, 1-to-1 career mentorship, portfolio building, and job placement support.

Will CS100 make me a cybersecurity expert?

No. CS100 is an introductory course that covers cybersecurity essentials. You'll gain a solid understanding of fundamental concepts and tools, but becoming an expert requires additional training, certifications, and real-world experience.

How much time do I need to commit to CS100?

CS100 consists of 7 lessons (3 hours each) plus a capstone project. You can choose full-day (Saturdays) or part-time (weekday evenings) schedules. All sessions are recorded, so you can catch up if you miss a class.

Can I use SkillsFuture credits for CS100?

Yes, Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above can use their SkillsFuture Credits to offset CS100 course fees. Visit the SkillsFuture portal to submit your claim after registering for the course.

What are the next steps after completing CS100?
